I have 2 of these recorders they work exactly for my needs. I only wish it had a pocket clip so it wouldn't move around.Some folks have experienced the ERR message after changing the batteries, here is the fix. Be aware it does erase all recordings to make this fix.
The ERR message can only be corrected by holding in the DISP/MENU and STOP buttons for two seconds, which results in ALL the material on the recorder being erased. It will say (FOR) for a few minutes while it is erasing everything, then will work again.
